2017 Prosperity & Profitability Planning for You

2017 Prosperity & Profitability Planning on Saturday 

What can we do to have a successful 2017? We're going to start with setting our intentions for a great year--and then planning how to make it happen!

All members are welcome at the 2017 Prosperity & Profitability Planning workshop on Saturday, January 7 from 9:30am-12:30pm. 

Please note the new location: We will be meeting at Franz Hall on the University of Portland campus in north Portland. There is a parking lot just a few steps from the building, and the room is large, comfortable, and has a lovely view. 

The agenda: We will be planning Q1 of 2017. What to do, what to ignore, and where to focus for prosperity and profitability.

There is room for a few more participants, and there is no charge for members. Sorry, but there is no room for non-members or other guests. Not a member? Fix that here:

2016 Is Just About Wrapped Up!


Do you have plans for the holidays? I hope you're taking some time off to be with loved ones, to rest, renew and enjoy the holiday season fully.

You won't miss anything around here if you take it a little easy over the next two weeks. The DIY office will be closed from Wednesday, December 21 all the way through Monday, January 2nd. I'll be back in the office on Tuesday, January 3rd. You will hear from me as usual next week on Friday, and if you have a question that just won't wait, you can also ping me on Facebook. 

As much as I love the look of snow, I am very disappointed that the meetings at Hatch had to be cancelled due to inclement weather. The good news is that we have two more chances to get together in this year (Monday's Action Calls and Tuesday's Marketing Coaching), and I hope to see you there.

What's New & What's Happening in 2017

Here's a quick sneak peek at what's coming in the new year at the DIY:

What's Happening in 2017 First, we'll kick off the new year with the 2017 planning workshop on Saturday, January 7th. Reserve your place here: 2017 Prosperity & Profitability Planning

Second, on January 1st, the DIY will transition to a new membership model that I believe you will love! In a nutshell, there will be ONE level of membership, and passes to access events like Mastermind meetings and Action Calls. Your membership will be fully customizable, plus you'll be able to use your Mastermind money in new ways! More details coming next week.

Third, a new reservation policy begins in January. Briefly, enrollment for recurring reservation-based meetings such as Action Calls and Marketing Coaching will open the Friday before the meeting. This will help reduce no-shows and give everyone an equal shot at snagging reservations in limited seating meetings.

Fourth, plans are underway Inspiration Weekend 9 (and early bird pricing ends on 12/31/16) on Friday and Saturday, April 28-29, 2017. Look for new info about content, presenters, and location early in January.

2017 is going to be amazing, isn't it? Glad we're in it together!

SoHo Business:
 A small office or home office-based business.

Micro Business: Usually a sole proprietor, freelancer, consultant or independent professional. Can be full- or part-time, working from home office, outside office, creative, loft, mobile, retail or manufacturing space.

Small Business: Less that 100 employees and/or $2 million in revenue per year.

Medium Business: More employees, and more revenue.

Big Business: I think we all know the answer to this one.
