Big DIY Video/Audio Library Available for You
Hey,
Did you know that as a DIY member, you have access to a tremendous number of on-demand resources on the DIY site? One resource is our Advanced Strategies section of the membersite, which has dozens of our webinars and recordings available for download and/or replay in both audio and video format. Most classes also include a PDF of notes, worksheets, templates or examples.
What is an Advanced Strategies class? Each AS class drills down on one specific marketing topic, with the focus on what to do (and why), plus tips and formulas for how to do it. For example, this month, we recorded a webinar on How to Sell Your First 50 Books, in which we covered five specific strategies for selling books, plus information about pricing, distribution, and a couple of ways to get reviews from complete strangers. The class included a notes summary plus six specific scripts to help use as templates. If you missed this class, you can always watch or listen to the replay, which you can access on the Sell 50 Books page.
Where did all this content come from? Our Advanced Strategies series happens every month except December, and we've been archiving content for the past few years, so that lots of information available for YOU.
Most of our classes were first offered as a webinar, which is recorded in both audio and video format, then posted in the Advanced Strategies area for members to access on demand. These classes are then repeated on the third Friday of the month at Hatch as an on-site seminar.
Why both audio and video? Originally all classes were teleseminars, and when we added the video component, we kept recording the audio as a back up. Then what happened was that as much as members enjoy the video because it is visual, we discovered that members were downloading the class audios so they could listen while driving or doing household chores (multi-task much?!). Both formats are now available, so you have the option to listen or watch as you choose.
Where to find these classes: You will find an index page of the available Advanced Strategies classes on the membersite. Each class has it's own subpage, and includes any available audio, video, and handouts. Find the list of classes here.
