First DIY Seminar at Lloyd Center Following Mastermind

Hey,

The first afternoon edition of our monthly Portland Mastermind meeting happens on Thursday from 3-5pm, followed by the first evening session of our monthly marketing seminar at 6:30pm: How to Create Your Business Brand Bible.

This fast-paced class will share:

  • what a brand bible is, and why your brand needs it
  • a real-life example to inspire you
  • your take-home brand bible checklist

What: How to Create Your Business Brand Bible Seminar

When: Thursday, April 6, 2017, from 6:30-8pm

Where: Lloyd Center Community Room #944, Lloyd Center, Portland OR 97232

How much: $20 for DIY members; $0 for Local and All Acess pass holders; includes live participation, Q&A, handouts

Both meetings happen in the Lloyd Center (Community Room #944 on Level 1). The room is easy to find if you know where to look, which is the lower (basement) level on the north side of the mall. Here's a photo so you can see where we are:

Q2 Prosperity & Profitability Webinar & Seminar 

After chatting with several members about their progress on the goals set in January, I realized that we need something different for this second session of this series.

We will start by recapping your progress (and challenges!) from the previous quarter. This won't take too long, and I promise there will be no shaming or blaming! Then we will drill down on what you want to accomplish this quarter, and you will experience my new process to set yourself up for success.

There is no charge for members, and all members may attend any or all of the meetings. Sorry, but there is no room for non-members or guests.

Business Definitions

Marketing:
The art and science of attracting, acquiring, and retaining clients profitably. 
  • The purpose of marketing is revenue.
  • The process of marketing is relationships.
  • The practice of marketing focuses on market, message, and media.
  • The path of marketing is know, like, trust, try, buy, refer.
SoHo Business:
 A small office or home office-based business.

Micro Business: Usually a sole proprietor, freelancer, consultant or independent professional. Can be full- or part-time, working from home office, outside office, creative, loft, mobile, retail or manufacturing space.

Small Business: Less that 100 employees and/or $2 million in revenue per year.

Medium Business: More employees, and more revenue.

Big Business: I think we all know the answer to this one.
